Silver content of world coins?
While there is plenty of info on the web detailing the content of gold in world coins, I'm having a hard time finding the same for silver coins.
Anyone here know of any good websites for this info? Thanks! |

Re: Silver content of world coins?
That's a nice site but not very complete. They are missing some things that I was specifically looking for right now, like $10 and $25 face value silver coins from the Bahamas and Cayman Islands. They only go up to $5 on those.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the $10 coin has twice the silver of the $5 coin.

Re: Silver content of world coins?
Not necessarily. For instance:
1975 Bahamas $10 = 1.4602 OZ. ASW 1974 Bahamas $5 = 1.2527 OZ. ASW 1975 Bahamas $2 = .8863 OZ. ASW Doesn't break down fractionally based on face value. |
